Flint Vineyard
Located in the sunny and dry Waveney Valley, a visit to Flint Vineyard will give you an insight into how and why they do things differently. The Flint tour will tell you the full story of what they do and why it ends up tasting so good.
Set in 30 hectares of vines and with a state-of-the-art winery, you can take a tour, have a glass of wine, and enjoy a guided tasting or seasonal lunch.

Burn Valley Vineyard
Nestled in the picturesque countryside of North Creake, Burn Valley Vineyard is a 12-acre family-run estate dedicated to crafting exceptional English wines.
With 17,000 vines in the vineyard, Burn Valley has been producing award winning wines that capture the essence of the Norfolk unique terroir since 2018.
Thing to do nearby: Head to Burnham Market for a browse of the independent shops and take lunch at The Hoste Arms or No.Twenty 9 restaurant and bar. Holkham Hall and Estate is just around the corner.

Giffords Hall Vineyard
Set just outside Sudbury, Giffords Hall Vineyard is one of the Suffolk Wine Trail’s most established names. The vineyard’s position in the Stour Valley gives its wines a distinctive character, with the riverbed and surrounding landscape helping shape what is grown here. Visitors can discover a broad range of wines, including Pink Blush Rosé and Brut Reserve NV sparkling wine, while exploring a vineyard with a strong sense of place and history.
Things to do nearby: Visit Gainsborough’s House, Kentwell Hall and Melford Hall or take it easy by the river at Flatford, scene of many of John Constable’s famous paintings.
Hawkswood Vineyard
East of Bury St Edmunds, Hawkswood Vineyard is full of personality. Run by Michael and Irene, who personally tend the vines, craft the wine and host visitors, it offers the kind of meet-the-maker experience that makes a vineyard visit memorable. Hawkswood won a National Wine GB Gold for its 2023 Pinot Rose and over the last five years has collected no less than ten national awards for their wines. The vineyard is also known for its unusual resident: a pet hawk. Expect a warm welcome and a very Suffolk story.

ARK Wines
Close to Sudbury in the Stour Valley, ARK Wines brings an experimental spirit to Suffolk winemaking. Coopers Croft Vineyard
Family-run Coopers Croft Vineyard offers a more intimate vineyard experience in the countryside south of Bury St Edmunds. Known for award-winning wines, including its 2021 rosé fizz, Coopers Croft is a lovely choice for visitors who want to meet passionate producers and discover the smaller-scale, personal side of Suffolk wine.

Giffords Hall Vineyard
Shotley Vineyard
On the Shotley Peninsula, Shotley Vineyard offers wide views across the River Orwell and a peaceful setting. The vineyard grows lesser-known grape varieties alongside more familiar names, producing wines with a distinctive local character. Visitors can enjoy experiences such as afternoon tea with a glass of sparkling wine, making Shotley a strong choice for a slower day out in the south of the county.

Valley Farm Vineyards
Near Halesworth and inland from Southwold, Valley Farm Vineyards is one of the northernmost stops on the trail. Mature vines produce single-estate wines, including Madeleine Angevine 2022, and guided tours take visitors among the vineyard’s 3,000 vines. For a full wine weekend, Valley Farm also offers on-site accommodation at the Cabin-in-the-Vines, placing guests right in the heart of the vineyard landscape.

Wyken Vineyards
East of Bury St Edmunds, Wyken Vineyards sits within a 1,200-acre farm and brings together wine, food, shopping and heritage in one place. Visitors can explore the vineyard, visit the country store and enjoy the atmosphere of a converted medieval barn, with the estate also home to a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. One of Suffolk’s pioneer vineyards, Wyken produces sparkling Wyken Moonshine and reflects generations of farming tradition.
