Lowestoft
Lowestoft is a charming traditional seaside town with long sandy beach in Suffolk, England, with a rich maritime history and a good rail service to Ipswich and on to London. It is also on the Wherry Line from Norwich.
The most easterly point in the British Isles, Lowestoft hosts the annual free First Light Festival.
Nearby attractions include Pleasurewood Hills and Africa Alive, Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s 151-hectare Carlton and Oulton Marshes nature reserve, and is close to Great Yarmouth, the east coast’ premier seaside resort with its Golden Mile of amusements, rides and attractions.
