Pakefield Beach lies on the southern edge of Lowestoft on the Suffolk Coast. It is backed by cliffs with housing and local amenities set above the shoreline.
The beach is a mix of sand and shingle. At low tide, broader areas of sand are exposed, creating space for walking and paddling.

Pay-and-display parking is available close to the seafront, with additional on-street parking in surrounding roads.
Access
Access is via steps and sloping paths from the clifftop and seafront.
Getting there
Pakefield is accessed via local roads connecting to the A12.
