Orford is a charming coastal village in Suffolk, England. Orford is 23 miles from Ipswich and close to seaside town Aldeburgh.
Adjacent to the River Alde, Orford is a calming distraction in hurried times, offering the opportunity to peacefully explore a picturesque community that includes attractions English Heritage Orford Castle, Pump Street bakery and The Crown and Castle. The village has a heritage for smoking seafood.
There are scheduled boat trips across to National Trust Orford Ness National Nature Reserve which has a number of eery derelict Cold War buildings.
