The museum is the perfect place to see and experience everything about the famous Norfolk Broads.
A working life:
Discover the almost forgotten working lives of wherryman, marshmen, eel catchers, thatchers, brewers, boatbuilders and shopkeepers. Find out about a water bicycle and a floating shop too!
Our unique landscape:
Do you know how the Broads landscape was formed? Discover the story of peat and the part iconic windpumps played.
Take a boat trip:
Take a trip on our steam launch Falcon or electric boat Marsh Harrier. What might you see on your trip on the River Ant? Kingfishers, coots, moorhens, marsh harriers and otters? Marsh Harrier is accessible for some wheelchairs.
The Museum of the Broads is great fun for the all the family and your doggy friends are welcome too!
