Ipswich
The county town of Ipswich is in Suffolk, England, and claims to be the oldest continually inhabited town in the country. It is on the Intercity line between London and Norwich.
The highlight today is the developed waterfront which has a marina and is home to hotels, bars and places to eat as well as he campus of the University of Suffolk.
The town also has a rich history and interesting architecture, not least the Ancient House, St Mary-le-Tower Church, Christchurch Mansion and on Silent Street. Why not take a tour of Ipswich Town Football Club.
