Felixstowe is a traditional seaside town in Suffolk, England. It has a branch line train from Ipswich, 23 miles away.
Enjoy a harbour ferry ride that will give you an insight into Britain’s biggest and busiest container port and a sight of the local seal colony. Refurbished containers are used in the funky Beach Street of food and drink outlets on the seafront.
Visit historic Landguard Fort for the town’s maritime history, enjoy a long, sandy beach, explore the lovely seafront with promenade, subtropical gardens, Edwardian hotels and Victorian pier.
