Aldeburgh
Aldeburgh is a charming, unspoilt coastal town in Suffolk, England, famous for its annual music festival created by composer Benjamin Britten and his partner Peter Pears. You can visit their Red House.
Aldeburgh has a long shingle beach adorned with fish shacks, excellent places to stay and the medieval Aldeburgh Museum. Running parallel is the High Street that’s full of boutiques, antique and wine shops, galleries and a wide range of places to eat, not least renowned fish and chip shops.
Nearby is picturesque Thorpeness and the Maggi Hambling Scallop sculpture.
