Winterton-on-Sea is a quaint coastal village in Norfolk, England, 9 miles north of Great Yarmouth and 22 miles east of Norwich.
Winterton-on-Sea has a lovely sandy beach backed by an extensive and protected marram grass-covered dune system. There is a large beach car park with refreshment shacks and toilets.
The picturesque village is made up of many brick and flint fishermen’s cottages, 300-year-old pub and striking church. Look out for the traditional, colourful thatched roundhouses, part of the Hermanus self-catering holiday park.
