Norwich
Norwich is the county capital of Norfolk, England, and is the best-preserved medieval city in the UK. It is on the Inter City line from London.
A walkable city by the River Wensum, Norwich is a lovely blend of historical sights such as the magnificent Norman castle and cathedral, cobbled streets, independent shops in The Lanes, colourful market and modern touches such as the glass-fronted Forum.
With two universities, Norwich is a vibrant and cultural city with lots of museums, theatres, pubs, bars, cafes and places to stay.
It is the home of the Norfolk and Norwich Festival, the country’s longest-running arts festival.
