Blakeney

Blakeney is a charming, unspoilt coastal village in the Norfolk Coast National Landscape in Norfolk, England, 28 miles north of Norwich and 35 miles east of King’s Lynn and known for its striking flint buildings.

Blakeney has a Guildhall with 14th century, the double-towered Church of St Nicholas,

The village is on the River Glaven leading to the sea at the mouth of Blakeney Point, home of the largest seal colony in the British Isles and a haven for birdlife. Blakeney Point is now a National Trust National Nature Reserve.

Blakeney was a seaport until the river silted up in the 19th century and the harbour quay is a good place to go crabbing.
