Join us for our next Crafts by the River workshop and discover the beautiful art of Wild Weaving.
Before mechanization, hand looms were used to create textiles from natural fibers. Today, Wild Weaving uses foraged plants and natural materials to create beautiful woven art inspired by the outdoors.
Join local textile artist Jo Couldrey for this relaxed, drop-in workshop and have a go at creating your own woven masterpiece. Suitable for all ages and no experience is needed.
Why not make a day of it? Explore the museum, enjoy our Fun & Frolics Summer Trail, take a trip aboard our historic steam launch Falcon or accessible electric boat Marsh Harrier, and relax with refreshments in our riverside café.
