Experience Lowestoft’s maritime history after dark on a special 90-minute Halloween Ghost Tour combining a boat trip through the historic harbour with a private visit aboard the historic steam drifter Lydia Eva.
Your experience begins aboard Jet Adventures’ Shearwater for around 45 minutes on the water. As we explore Lowestoft Harbour, you’ll hear stories from its darker past — tales of shipwrecks, tragedy, mysterious happenings and some of the ghosts associated with the town’s long maritime history.
We’ve timed the experience so that sunset falls around 25 minutes into the boat trip, as Shearwater makes her way through the harbour and the light begins to fade.
You’ll then step aboard Lydia Eva for an exclusive private tour of this remarkable piece of Lowestoft’s fishing heritage. The vessel will be lightly decorated for Halloween, providing an atmospheric setting for another 45 minutes of stories and exploration.
With just 12 passenger places available on each departure, these are small, special Halloween experiences rather than a conventional sightseeing trip or horror attraction.
