Journey back in time at Grime’s Graves, as you descend 9 meters below ground into Britain’s only open Neolithic flint mine. In the pit, a multi-sensory digital projection will immerse you in the lives of prehistoric miners. Uncover further secrets of prehistoric mining in the new exhibition, and embark on a family-friendly trail through the unique lunar-like landscape, home to rare plants and wildlife.Set amid the distinctive Breckland Heath landscape, Grime’s Graves is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a habitat for rare plants and fauna.
