About Old Hunstanton Beach

Overview

Old Hunstanton Beach lies just north of Hunstanton on the Royal Norfolk Coast. While close to the main resort, it has a quieter setting and is backed by dunes rather than promenade frontage.

The shoreline is predominantly sandy, with wide areas exposed at low tide. It offers a more open and less commercial stretch of coast than central Hunstanton.

Parking

A pay-and-display car park is located near the main access point, with limited roadside parking nearby.

Access

Access is via sandy paths through low dunes. Surfaces can be soft underfoot in places. The beach is generally flat once reached.

Getting there

Old Hunstanton is reached via local roads branching from the A149.
