General Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

These General Prize Draw Terms and Conditions apply to all Visit East of England prize draws unless otherwise stated. By entering a prize draw, you agree to these terms and any prize-specific terms published on the relevant prize page.

1. The promoter is Visit East of England.
2. Prize draws are free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
3. Unless otherwise stated, entrants must be aged 18 or over and residents of the United Kingdom.
4. Entries must be submitted before the published closing date and time. Entries received after the closing date will not be included.
5. Unless otherwise stated, only one entry per person is permitted. Duplicate or automated entries may be disqualified.
6. Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received before the closing date.
7. Winners will be contacted using the contact details provided at the time of entry. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 14 days, Visit East of England reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
8. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise stated.
9. Each prize is subject to the prize-specific terms and conditions published on the relevant prize page. Winners are responsible for complying with any requirements set by the prize provider.
10. Unless expressly included within the prize, winners are responsible for any additional costs associated with redeeming the prize, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, food, fuel, insurance, parking and personal expenses.
11. Visit East of England reserves the right to substitute a prize, or any part of a prize, with an alternative of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.
12. Visit East of England reserves the right to cancel, amend, suspend or withdraw any prize draw where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
13. Personal information supplied as part of a prize draw will be used to administer the prize draw and contact the winner. Data will be processed in accordance with Visit East of England's Privacy Policy.
14. By accepting a prize, winners may be asked to take part in reasonable publicity relating to the prize draw. Participation is optional unless otherwise agreed.
15. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Visit East of England accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury arising from acceptance or use of a prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
16. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
17. The prize draw opens at 9:00am on Monday 17 August 2026 and closes at 12:00 midnight on Saturday 29 August 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.
