About Aldeburgh Festival
In 2026 the Festival has special significance: it marks fifty years since Benjamin Britten’s death and reflects the legacy he and Peter Pears built, especially their commitment to supporting and celebrating young artists. Featured Artist Ryan Wigglesworth will collaborate with fellow artists such as James Baillieu, Nicolas Altstaedt, Vilde Frang, Steven Osborne and Lise Davidsen, alongside the next generation of emerging talent, in the spirit that has shaped the Festival since 1948.
