About The Beaujolais Festival

Each November, the arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau is celebrated across France and around the world; a tradition marking the release of the very first wine from the year's harvest.
This November, we are bringing the celebration to the Suffolk countryside with two days of Beaujolais, French-inspired food and live music at Retreat East.

Celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau Day at Retreat East with an evening dedicated to one of France’s most famous wine traditions.

Join us for a three-course French-inspired dinner, accompanied by three glasses of Beaujolais – one served with each course. Throughout the evening, our guest speaker will share the story behind Beaujolais Nouveau, the traditions surrounding its annual release and why the third Thursday of November is celebrated by wine lovers around the world.

Choose to simply enjoy the dinner or make an evening of the wine too, with three glasses of Beaujolais selected to accompany each course. Includes three-course dinner, three glasses of Beaujolais and guest speaker.

Bottomless Beaujolais Brunch - Friday 20th November

Continue the Beaujolais celebrations with a relaxed Beaujolais Brunch at Retreat East, accompanied by live music.

Enjoy a French-inspired brunch menu, with the option to add bottomless Beaujolais and settle in for a leisurely Friday afternoon at the retreat.

Raise a glass to Beaujolais in the Suffolk countryside. Add Bottomless Beaujolais | £35 per person
