04:00 – Jason Singh’s Raaga – Suraj (Punjabi for “Sun”) is an immersive, long-form soundscape designed for deep listening. Inspired by the morning raga Bhairav, the piece weaves together nature field recordings and live vocalized percussion to celebrate the breaking dawn on the Summer Solstice.

04:20 – Yoga & Sun Salutation – Join us for a mystical sun salutation as we welcome the Summer Solstice sunrise from the first place in the UK to see the first light of day.

04:30 – Fish Feast Breakfast

04:30 – Shells & Bells – Shells and Bells is a special dawn performance from Steve Pretty, First Light’s musician-in-residence, returning for his third year of welcoming the day with music at the festival.
4:35 – Fish Feast

04:40 – TendertwinA new co-commission between Britten Pears Arts and First Light Festival, Turkish-born singer-songwriter, composer, and interdisciplinary artist Tendertwin’s piece connects the birthplace and final home of Benjamin Britten in this 50th anniversary year of his death.
