About Summer at Norwich Castle: Falcons, Knights and Medieval Fun!

Enjoy family fun, crafts and activities inspired by the medieval period at Norwich Castle this summer holiday

Welcome to the Court of King Henry I.

Discover what it takes to live, work and play at court. Meet a knight and a squire and explore medieval arms and armour. Learn about the noble art of falconry with Queen Adeliza and make your own flappy falcon to take home. Help the steward prepare for a grand feast and follow our trail through The Gallery of Medieval Life: A British Museum Partnership.

Staff-led activities run 10am - 12.15pm and 1 - 3pm, Monday - Saturday.

On Sundays, visitors can still enjoy our self-led activities from 10am-5pm.
