About Outdoor Theatre – Northanger Abbey

Welcome back to Moving Parts Theatre Company who will be bringing their latest adaption of Northanger Abbey to the walled gardens at Hoveton Hall.

Summer outdoor theatre at its finest. Moving Parts Theatre Company’s brand new adaptation of Jane Austen’s ‘Northanger Abbey’.

The power of stories.

The power of the imagination.

This summer, Moving Parts Theatre Company brings you Jane Austen’s Northanger Abbey. A thrilling Gothic tale of dark deeds… or a playful, heartwarming Regency romance. Let’s find out, shall we?

Following the huge success of last summer’s Vanity Fair, this brand new adaptation of Austen’s most theatrical novel follows the fortunes of Catherine Morland, a wild devotee of “horrid” fiction. Growing up in a world of balls, bonnets and Bath society, Catherine dreams of discovering secrets, skeletons, and ancient mysteries. But does she have what it takes to become… a HEROINE?

The performance is at 1pm and runs for 2 1/2 hours. Tickets are available to buy now, please click here for details
