Rob Bentall on Swedish nyckelharpa and Zeb Budworth on hammered dulcimer unveil the results of a week-long residency exploring folk-minimalist improvisation. Expect extended techniques, analogue effects, and a bold reimagining of how these traditional instruments can sound and interact. This sharing will feature a 45-minute continuous improvised performance shaped by text scores from UK composer Henry McPherson.
