About Midsummer Nights
Enjoy Helmingham Gardens on one of our special evening openings on select Thursdays throughout the summer.
For Midsummer Nights we are open from 10am as usual but remain open until 9pm instead of our usual 5pm closing time. Your ticket for Midsummer Nights permits you entry to The Gardens any time from 10am, but please note that live music will be in the evening.
Thursday 6th August & 13th August
Midsummer Nights – Thursday 6th August Nourish café will be closed. We will have The Black Dog Deli providing food for the evening and there will be alcoholic and soft drinks available from our bar located within the ice cream parlour (ice cream not available).
Music will be provided by Miss Leelo Saxophonist.
Experience Helmingham Gardens in a whole new light with our Midsummer Nights. Brendan Arundel, Head Gardener says “The sunsets that we see across the estate are spectacular and these late openings are the perfect opportunity for people to enjoy the gardens during ‘golden hour’. There’s a very special atmosphere created as the sun goes down, with wonderful scents released especially in the Rose Garden and from the Hybrid Musk Rose Border. And it’s often when the herd in the Deer Park is most active as they graze at twilight.”
Our three stable shops will remain open into the evening, allowing visitors to enjoy some shopping within our courtyard, all the while being entertained by fantastic live music provided by local musicians.
Admission excluding online booking fee: Adults £10.00, Children (5-15) £5.00, Under 5's FREE. Tickets are also available from The Stable Shop on the day.
Please note that picnics are not permitted.
