About Friday Lunchtime Concert: Trio Archai II
Inspired by the music of Richard Strauss, Francisco Coll's Piano Trio was a Britten Pears Arts commission and received its UK premiere at the 2022 Aldeburgh Festival. It is paired with Brahms's lyrical yet stormy piano trio in B major, his earliest published chamber work which he revised in later life.
