About Everyman Folk Club - Steve Turner
With a dazzling technique and musical insight, Steve is known as a pioneer of highly sophisticated English concertina song accompaniments, stretching the boundaries of traditional forms. With one of the best voices on the folk scene, he is a multi-instrumentalist who also accompanies himself on the cittern, as well as playing mandolin and tenor banjo. A masterful performance of traditional and newer songs.The Everyman meets on the last Friday of each month during January to May and September to November. We are non-profit community organisation. With Residents, Floor Singers and a Booked Guest Artist on every occasion, there is always a warm welcome for new performers and audience members.
