Whether you are a regular race goer or have never been before, Fakenham is one of the friendliest courses in the country. It offers an intimate racing experience allowing you close to the action – so you feel the thunder of hooves and buzz of the crowd as you cheer on your horse.There are clean, new facilities and a wide variety of food options available. You could pre-book dining in either The Firth or Parade Ring restaurants or, for a more casual experience, enjoy our indoor picnic area in The Lancaster Room and bring your own food or purchase from one of our many mobile catering units.If you are travelling from afar, why not stay at the Fakenham Racecourse caravan and campsite? It is open all year, including over race days. Within 20 minutes of some of the most amazing Norfolk beaches and great attractions, it is a really unique and beautiful place to stay.Fakenham has had Royal Patronage and been home to jump racing in Norfolk since 1905 and you will enjoy a traditional race day surrounded by passionate race goers at this lovely little venue. Dress for the weather though as it can be cold when the Easterly wind blows through.
