About Mid Norfolk Railway
East Anglia's longest heritage railway operating between Dereham and Wymondham (11.5 miles). Dereham Station houses displays of railway memorabilia, a shop and buffet.
Dereham Railway Station is located in the Heart of Norfolk and offers a beautifully restored heritage railway station with a tearoom, museum and gift shop. The season runs from March through to October with regular Steam and Diesel hauled services between Dereham and Wymondham Abbey. Our extremely popular The Polar Express™ Train Ride operates across November and December each year bringing thousands of visitors to the region. We also operate a number of other events for all ages, for example Steam & Diesel Galas, Alice on The Wondertrain Easter event, Dino Squad Express Days, 1940s Weekend, Beer Festival and several other special days!
Whether you’re a history buff, a train enthusiast, or simply looking for an exciting family day out, the MNR offers a delightful blend of nostalgia, fun and scenic beauty.
