Deben Cruises

2 hour cruise with commentary to explain the rivers vast history from Bricks for the first White house to The Kings fleet of Edward the third.

With as few as 24 people or as many as 48, your group can take a cruise down to picturesque Felixstowe Ferry or if the tide allows, up to historic Woodbridge. A galley on board provides refreshments with many of our groups choosing to book freshly baked scones supplied from our local bakery.
The river Deben is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within a special protection area of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths . The habitat provides for a great number of wading and migratory birds. Our on board commentary tells of its rich wildlife and history.

There’s ample parking for coaches on the quay, pay and display for cars behind the pub and ramp access down to the boat. Note there are 3 steps with handles and our skipper for assistance to get down into the boat.

The Maybush Inn is adjacent to us and very popular when the sun shines.
