Cartshed Cottages at Sharrington Hall offer award-winning, relaxed and rustic accommodation in a countryside setting near the coast.

The interior designed Seal, Samphire, Sky and Shell, set in a row in a converted cartshed, and Salt, nestling next door, are inspired by elements of North Norfolk. Vintage and contemporary furniture, oak floors, natural materials and muted colours create a laid back vibe that echoes the wild beauty of the local environment.

The self-catering holiday cottages are in the grounds of a Jacobean manor house, sleep 1-4 and are ideally located to explore North Norfolk – the beaches, salt marshes, walks, wildlife, gastro pubs, cafes, delis, pretty villages, stately homes, gardens, shops and galleries, with Blakeney, Holt, Holkham, Wells, Cley, Burnham Market all within easy reach.

Shell and Sky are both 2-bed 2-ensuite-bath cottages, approx 100sqm each. Shell has a large 
kitchen with hand-built kitchen and dining for four, a sitting room with L-shaped sofa, armchairs and large open fireplace with log burning stove. One bedroom has a European king four-poster bed and grand doors to a bathroom with cast iron roll top bath, the other is superking/twin with doors opening into a bathroom with large walk-in shower.

Sky has a hand-built kitchen with seating for four and a large sitting room with huge L-shaped sofa, armchair, desk/chair and log burning stove. Upstairs one room has a kingsize bed, a huge walk-in shower and separate WC; the other has a superking/twin bed opening into our most generous bathroom, with cast iron roll top bath.

Samphire is a 2-bed 1-bath cottage, at 70sqm. The open plan kitchen-living area has a hand-built kitchen in a sociable peninsular design, a contemporary L-shaped sofa, a snug chair, dining for four and a large fireplace with log burner. Upstairs are one double and one superking / twin, and the bathroom has a cast iron roll top bath and separate shower.

Seal and Salt are 1-bed cottages ideal for couples or solo travellers, both around 60sqm. Seal has an open plan kitchen/living area with hand-built kitchen, a snug 2-person sofa, lounger with footstool, dining for two and a huge fireplace with log burning stove. Upstairs the bedroom has a European king four-poster bed and roll top cast iron bath in the room and an ensuite with large walk-in shower.

Salt features an open plan living/kitchen with hand-built kitchen, large sofa, fireplace with log burning stove and dining nook. Upstairs is a large double aspect bedroom with four-poster king size bed and large soaking tub in the bedroom. There is a separate ensuite with oversized walk-in shower.

Shell, Sky, Samphire and Seal have private terraces giving onto shared garden, with open fields beyond. Salt has a more private south-facing terrace with views of Sharrington Hall.

All cottages have free wifi, freesat smart TV (streaming only in Salt), DVD player, digital radio with bluetooth speaker, dishwasher, hairdryer, central heating and access to washing machine/ironing. Towels, linens and logs provided. All have off-road parking too.

Dogs are welcome, children 10 or over only, also the 2-bed cottages have special couple rates, and all cottages have solo traveller rates.
